The pyjama, or “trash bag”, is a necessary accessory for protecting your sleeping bag, whatever kind of filling it has. It’s a bag for inside your sleeping bag. If you use it during your adventures, you’ll increase the life span of your down bag. You will be able to wash the pyjama and not the sleeping bag. You can use it on its own, without the sleeping bag, in warm but not very clean places (communal beds, cabins, sleeping cars, adventure trips on other continents) or when you lend your bag to someone else. You can use it for different things too, like a table cloth, blanket, towel, storage bag / protection for the outside of the bag (at home).

The pyjama bag is made out of thin materials, light and breathable. It has an elastic cord, and gathers the hood the way you want it. At the foot, two narrow belts allow it to be adjusted to your down-filled sleeping bag. Together with its bag, and compressed in this, it occupies a tiny space in your baggage. The “trash bag” is sewn and manufactured to fit the sleeping bag it is for, or it’s made to order.

Note! It’s cheaper to wash a pyjama bag than having to buy a sleeping bag more often, which you’ll have to wash frequently.

The pyjama bag comes with its own compression bag for transportation.
