The Salvamont range, whether it’s down-filled jackets or bodwarmers, is built on the idea of “durability for intense use”. For this, we’ve used reinforcements over the areas of direct contact: shoulders (front and back), elbows, upper arm and pockets, all placed over the exterior material, which is exposed to abrasion.

Technically speaking, besides the applied reinforcement, the product is made from three layers of material (as opposed to two layers in the Nahanny Light model). The interior layer, which is next to the skin, closes the spaces for anchoring the down, thus generating extra thermal protection and also aesthetic protection. Frequent use of the oblique pockets will not wear the exterior material (an area of intense use when you put your hands in your pockets) because of the extra protection. The zips which close the pockets are long enough to be able to put large objects in them, but also so you can warm your hands without taking your gloves off.

With its elastic cord for closing the bottom of the jacket, with the interior pocket which will keep your phone in the warmth, with warm down-lined pockets so your hands won’t freeze, and with other optional personalisations (adding a hood, internal fleece collar, etc.), you can consider this Nahanny item a special part of your alpine wardrobe.
